Voices from the Field

  • We have seen changes at every level in Arizona. We have agencies that are re-designing their portfolios of programs and services to be more intentional and aligned to the outcomes they want. We have local team members that have used Lectio to help strengthen their programming in a specific neighborhood or target population. We have funders working hand-in-hand with their grantees to help support alignment to outcomes using Lectio’s approach. And we have a task force at the state-level for professional development and for family engagement, using what we learned at Lectio to help identify shared performance measures and target goals for the state.

  • The institute was one of the most powerful professional development sessions I have ever attended.  We were provided with a real tool to evaluate our work (PDET) and engaged in thoughtful and intense discussions around programming. I realized that we need to change workplace practices on how to think more strategically when developing and implementing programs, all to ensure they are ones that lead to real impact and legitimate outcomes.
