Lectio is eager to help literacy leaders drive impact. We are motivated by the success of our partners, and work hard to convert their passion into success for America’s youngest readers.

We have served over 550+ clients and partners from more than 350 organizations, including state agencies, school districts, non-profits, and community campaigns across the U.S.

  • We support partners to develop different ways of thinking and working—to cultivate more evaluative, impact-driven mindsets
  • Because effective collective action means having key players at the table, we take a unique, team-based approach to our work.

We have seen changes at every level in Arizona. We have agencies that are re-designing their portfolios of programs and services to be more intentional and aligned to the outcomes they want. We have local team members that have used Lectio to help strengthen their programming in a specific neighborhood or target population. We have funders working hand-in-hand with their grantees to help support alignment to outcomes using Lectio’s approach.

Arizona Literacy Director

As soon as our community-wide reading proficiency initiative was introduced to the Lectio framework, I immediately realized its power to help both the philanthropic and nonprofit community evaluate programs in terms of design, effectiveness and potential for impact. As funders, we are total believers in the process, and have seen our community providers embrace it and learn from it as well.

This [Lectio approach] has greatly helped in building our leadership team’s knowledge of how each program is individually impacting the overall campaign goals as well as how the programs collectively lead to our intended outcomes.
